XZ Phone Super Heats and battery drains fast

Hi Guys, 

I am facing an issue with my new XZ, it gets heat up, hangs a lot and also battery is draining very fast almost in 5 hrs with normal usage. 

Kindly let me know if it's due to software or the piece is faulty. 

I have updated my XZ to 7.1.1

If you have issues after a software update, try performing a backup using Xperia Companion and then a software repair using Xperia Companion

its normal to heat up after externsive use on a game or video camera in Full HD or 4K.

However I experienced heat up and battery drain due to a faulty process. not hardware related.

same happening with me. It gets heated up while using normal apps and hangs a lot
