Phone refuses to connect to PC. Stuck in charging mode.

Hi,

Basically it refuses to connect to PC. It thinks I've connected it to a wall charger because it is stuck in charging only mode. I don't get the box where it says MTP mode PTP mode etc.

I've tried different cables and different USB ports but same result. I also just tried a factory reset and still no luck.

My older Z5 Premium works fine in this PC.

Could you boot on >>> safe mode and try again.

It's the same in safe mode.

Does it matter what USB port im using on the PC? I have 6 usb 2.0 ports and 4 USB 3.0 ports. I also have a USB type-c port but don't have a usb-c to usb-c cable.

Is it possible it could be a hardware fault?

The problem fixed by its self. I don't know how.
