My phone notified me this morning that I had reached my data limit and that cellular data would be paused till my next cycle. Seeing as this is tomorrow I was not too worried.
I checked with my provider (EE) and they said that I still have over half of my data remaining. EE stick by their figure so I will not be billed but is there any history of the data counter in android seriously over estimating the figure?
I am using a network free Xperia XZ with the latest firmware.
Does your data subscription plan include free social data by any chance?
And for your question: No, there's no option to view data consumption history as far as I know.
Apparently my plan does not count data used in picture messaging but I never use that. There are apparently no other freebies.
By a history of this I was asking if anyone else had seen this problem in the past, sorry for using a strange English idiom.
Hi @MarcusSan,
Do you have your data cycle set to a different date than your billing date?
Data and billing date match.
Hmm, not sure sorry. On older versions of Android I have experienced the data cap counting WiFi data, but this hasn't happened for quite some time.
I am afraid I am not sure what could have caused this.
