Answering machine and night mode

Hey Sony,

Any chance of getting the answering machine built into the dialer app in a future update? Also, seeing as you can adjust the white balance manually, I don't imagine implementing a night mode that lowers the colour temperature would be to hard to add. What do you guys reckon?

Live the phone by the way. Coming from a 6P I do miss Nougat though, so I can't wait for those updates!

My unlocked Z3+ also has lost the xperia ans machine since android 7 update today...  Would like it back if possible please..! On EE on the Uk...

I have received information that this is operator dependant as I suspected, they may choose to remove the feature. I am sorry to say that the only thing which I may refer you to regarding this is your operator if the feature is missing.

Hi, by operator do you mean your service provider for example I'm with Vodafone? Many thanks

Hi @Caderz, it could very well be the service provider if they sold you your device with a branded software.

Sometimes, operators/service providers choose to brand the software of the devices they sell, and this could mean that they may add or remove features, add or remove pre-installed apps and so forth, they basically customize the software to their liking. The information I have is that not all our devices support Answering machine, and if it is missing in your Xperia XZ, then I would recommend getting in touch with the operator in order to see if they may have some more information regarding the feature.
