I have to reinstall Windows XP but I can't boot from my external drive (SONY DRX-510ULK).
I tried it by USB (not possible), I also tried by firewire (connected directly to the laptop but it won't boot)
What can I do ?? Do I have to use a PC Card (PCMCIA) ?
In the Bios under the tab "Advanced" i.Link Boot is "enabled" but I don't know if this activates the firewire connector on my laptop?
