Problem with xperia XZ and sd card

Hallo,

I have bought my phone at the begging of November and since then I have experianced problems with the sd card. It works for a few days then it says that the card is destroyed, and it actually is.

The phone has destroyed 2 sd cards. I have send it to Sony service 3 times, the first time they have changed the main board of the phone, but the problem remained, the next two times they have said to me that the phone is working perfectly. I recieved the phone yesterday and from the first moment I got the message,sd card corrupted. The card worked perfectly on my laptop and my old phone.

I bought the phone 5 months ago and i have not used it for more than 5 days.

I very frustrated with this situation, for five months i have been draged arround this situation and I don't get a solution.

I have asked for a new and fully operating phone, but nobody seem to care.

I was expecting better from a phone of XZ status and a company like Sony.

Sony was my favourite brand in all devices, but after this, I want advise anyone to buy anything from your brand.

This are the messages I get, I know they are in Greek, but surely you get the meaning.

unfortunately we cannot do more as you have already sent your device at your local service center.

i can suggest however, to try to reformat the sd card on the device itself, make sure that the sd card is compatible with the device,. and try to see if woks on safe mode

Hi,

I've just got the same issue today - SD card started to report it is corrupted and can't be no longer used.

I've used it now for 4 months with no issues.

It can't be formatted even the system ask for it - exactly as written here, it pass to 20% and then it failes with no further message. Other SD card is even not visible on the phone.

SD card is readble on PC.

I am now formatting on PC to see what it happens than.
