Notification bar does not working in potrait mode

It suddenly stopped working yesterday. I have tried safe mode and factory reset and I still cannot swipe down the notifications bar to get to the notifications or settings in portrait. It works ok in landscape but it is a real pain.  Any fixes known please!!!!

I am sorry to hear about this issue. :(. If you have already done the software repair using Xperia Companion then I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange an assessment.
