Hi, I have uch 12 charger and my xz doesn't charge higher than 1586mma. I've tested the charger with a Motorola and it chargers at 3000+mma!. I'm at a loss why my phone refuses to charge at a higher current
Hi, just to shed some light on the discussion. I got the XZ also and I was about to purchase the UCH12 but something was bugging me about it. So I went on and made a small research. UCH12 does not work with the type-C usb of the XZ. You need the UCH12W. So, if you can get your hands on one of these and test it that would be great. You will help us all. The UCH12W is not available anywhere in my country yet so cannot test. I have to wait for 3 weeks minimum for my order to arrive from UK due to the holiday season. I hope that will help some of the new owners of the XZ. Kyriakos
What is the difference between, quick charging, fast charging and dash charging? My friends got One plus 3t and Next bit robin and their phones have a message "dash charging" and sometimes "Fast charging" displayed.
Do you think they have the ability to charge quicker than Xperia XZ?
I can't help you. But I can tell you I have the same problem. I used two different quick chargers both original UCH12W. No change in speed! 2 hours 40 minutes like with the normal charger UCH20.
It even happend that the XZ crashed in the charging process or it discontinued the process or it took ones more than a night (6 hours).
