Hi there,
I've got an issue with my new Sony Xperia xz. I'm trying to copy photos to my laptop but the quality is not the same. I've made the photos in 23 megapiksels and when I'm copying them exactly the same file it's been displayed as a very small picture. It looks like the xperia is changing the quality of sending stuff...is there any chance that I someone could help with this? Please and thank you!
How are you transferring the files?
make sure that you transfer the pictures from this folder
Internal storage > DCIM > 100ANDRO
Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate that.
Basically I've got an additional micro Sd card from my previous xperia z3. There is a 60gb of the memory so I can still use it. When I'm opening the file with Sd card-Dcim-100andro I have got all my previous photos saved in the same format and size.
In contrast, when I'm opening the internal storage - dcim-'thumbnails' there are the pictures but saved in small size for example only 21Kb. I don't understand the reason why, is there any option (when I'm taking the pictures ans saving them in my device) that I will still open the same photo on my laptop in original size taken by the 23 megapiksels camera?
And one more thing... When I'm opening the file (international storage what's app - media - what's app images the photos are saved in the original size and I can look on them on the screen very clearly.
Thank you for any help in advance.
Sandra
Sorry I forgot to add that I'm transferring pictures by the USB cable which it was added to my new xperia xz.

Don't transfer the thumbnails pictures, just the original file that is on 100ANDRO. you can even delete the pictures in the thumbnails folder.
Hey! I have realised that I havent checked properly the 100andro folder as I have all my original photos saved there.
Because I've got thousand of photos it must to be very slowly to scroll down or it didn't show up on my laptops in that time me so I believed that nothing has been saved.
It's okay now thank you so much for your help.
