I had a standard Sony TV (Don't know the brand, model, make etc) which was playing up- not connecting to the BBC iPlayer/YouTube serves despite saying that the internet connection was fine. There is no remote for this TV. 

I did a factory reset with the buttons on the side and the TV is stuck on picking the Parental Controls Code (0000 is not allowed) as I cannot choose the numbers. 

Is there either any way of skipping this, or choosing numbers with the buttons on the side of the TV? I'm trying to fix this myself but any input on what to do is heelpful.
