Signal speed at television
Pursuing the failure of my television to play On-demand TV programmes for more than five minutes at a stretch, is there a method I can employ to ascertain the fibre broadband speed reaching my television through two powerline adapters or wirelessly (37.5Mbps through an ethernet cable at my desktop)? I have tried various non-flash broadband speed checkers. 7.5Mbps is recorded, typically. However, I have been informed previously that this is not a reliable method (for what reason I do not know or cannot remember).

I thank you for your reply. My TV is Sony KDL32W705. I have replied to the most recent post of your link hoping to find out more about the built-in screen and network app about which I know nothing.
