• Tv works for while then starts to flicker.  Screen then fills with lines then patterns and whites out before eventually switching off. If volumes is on goes off like a car horn. Has this happened to anyone with this TV. Is it worth fixing?

Yes. Now works in black and white for 5 minutes then screen flickers etc
etc.
