Bravia TV getting "no signal" from PC with VGA connector
I am mystified as to why Sony Bravia LCD TV gives "no signal" when connected to VGA output on Sony Vaio laptop. Any light on this would be appreciated.

Hi there
Have you tried using the FN key and another F key, together. For example on my laptop I press FN+F4 to switch output displays.
Failing that, try this:
- Connect VGA cable from laptop to TV.
- Ensure than the input source on the TV is set to PC or whatever input its called
- Right-click the Desktop and choose "Properties
- Click the "Settings Tab
- Click the display list and select "External Montor"
- Select the extend my windows desktop onto this monitor option
- Click OK
NOTE: You may need to lower your output display resolution on the laptop
