Naming HDMI inputs

S have a UK Sony TV model KDL-40HX803 I am trying to find out how you name the HDMI inputs. Sony have told me that it is not possible but when I had the TV installed the installer named 3 of these inputs so I know it can be done I just cannot find how to do it.

Hi there

The only way that I know is if you give the input a "label"

1. Press the [Home] Button on the remote control
2. Goto "Settings"
3. Goto "External Inputs"
4. Goto "AV Presets"
5. Use the arrow keys on the remote to go across to "Label" and press [OK] - Give it a name
