Turned on my Sony Xperia E5. Opening screen displayed as usual, but I inadvertently pressed the ON buton again as I was putting the phone down. The phone switched off. But when I tried to switch back on, there was no response.
I tried the re-start procedure by pressing ON button and VOLUME+ button together for well over 10 seconds, but no response. Battery had plenty of life (80%) the night before. If I plug in charger and hold the two buttons down, the red charging light flashes briefly with longish intervals in between. But there are no other resposes.
Anyone got any ideas?
