This thread is for C3 users to report any bugs after lollipop, before you do so, try the following:

If your battery drain faster or the phone seems slower or apps are crashing, it'll be wise to reinstall lollipop with PCC

even better if you update deleting all the apps and settings, keep in mind that by doing so, you can not use the backup & restore app to restore anything.

Because of the limited RAM (1GB) the C3 won't get multi user support

Hello, I got the same known problems.

1 Screen Dims And Brightens Automatically

2 Rear Camera Is The Worst + Video 

other solutions

3 sound is very bad = disable enchancements like clear phaze and others 

4 ram is okay for now = 600 is always in use, i have 100 - 250 free most time (with facebook and other heavy apps i have 80 free)

5 i know that Lollipop update will not be good. do not update ! it may fix camera but other thinks wil get worse

5 and my phone is poor quality built, (meaning external design, feels like it's not genuine)

6 as i know my mobile is certified for United Arab Empires

and do not reply useless post !!! cos i know and you ! know it won't help. 

also it like 50%/50% that it can be camera software or hardware problem. i  think it is both ! i many thanks SONY many thanks .

if someone trid other camera apps and picture quality was good then please reply...

Go for manual setting then activate HDR mode, change resolution....

I have said this before as well! Just try a different camera app! Like the google camera or retrica! The camera app seems to have a bug! Its not a hardware problem! Sony will fix it!

I think again SONY will take ages to give the next update....I thank everyone in this discussion forum letting the world know the problems being faced with your devices...based on your reviews and suggestons i havent upgraded to LOLLIPOP and im continuing with my KITKAT and im very much satisfied with..

1.) In the night though there is light and photos taken with flash on rear camera they come little blurred and shaky even with SUPERIOR AUTO as well as MANUAL settings but in the day time both front and rear cameras aesome :smileysmileythumbsup: other than this i didnt find any problem with my XPERIA C3 [ PS :  IM SAYING THAT IM USING KITKAT NOT LOLLIPOP ]

I tried many cameras, google camera doesn't work. it's the same... some other cams are better (not proper thought) and video recording is same some of these apps, but i think there is one or two that doesnt' blures videos and records clear video everytime.

other cameras are much better, camera mx, procapture, a better camera ,camera fv 5, DSLR camera

I HOPE SONY WILL FIX IT . i'm so nervous i wanted to kill myself when i realise that camera (why i bought phone) was very bad quality...

and i think sony do not makes very good quality phones which are certified for other countries like arab empires, china , so on...

Now when I cleared data of simple home it's crashing issue is fixed and my camera works well and takes photos very quickly now in lollipop 🍭 I love lollipop and sony
