hi there I am facing my sony c5 ultra battery,screen & touchscreen problem.
i got 2 C5 ultra one black unit & one white unit
2 unit the problem I'm facing its on below
1.When I close my phone & charge to 100% then I on my phone the battery only show 95%-96% it's not fully charge
2.When I open my phone & charge to 100% then I close my phone & charge again the battery also show 94%-96% it's not fully charge
3.When I restart my phone the battery become higher percentage example like I use the battery left 55% then I restart my phone it become 72%..
4.Touchscreen response sometimes it's not smooth sometime it's ok...
5.White unit the screen it's not clear & quite blur compare to the black unit using same wallpaper & brightness with Engine Bravia 2 function On.
Anyway it's this software issue or hardware issue & what should I do???
Is the battery and touch problem solved on the sony c5 ultra? I am looking forward to buy it.
I used to be a big sony fan I've had so many sony phones when it was sony ericsson and i've to say the old and gold model before smart phones it was C100 very slick and stylish. But since last couple of sony phones and the support I've been very very disappointed since somehow the sony screens are so delicates (i don't know if they're using corina glass) but I had Z ultra and i was driving from office to home which is about 5-7 minutes drive and when I reached home the phone screen wasn't working (a scratch) and the phone was in my pocket and you may say it was big phone and probably when in pocket screen might have broken?? And worst part was there was NO repair available and instead support offered me replacement with 50% price on same model new device. But hello currently I've C5 Ultra when i went for a sleep in night I kept it aside on side table to bed and when I woke up in morning not even a single scratch (not a small scratch) not fallen nothing and screen was like ghost touching in the morning from very left hand side which is weired. I went to near by support center and he just checked the screen from diagnosis tool an said in 2 mins that you'll have to replace a screen which will cost around Rs. 5500 to Rs. 6000 approx?? I bout it in around Rs. 26500 1 and half year back and currently available in approx Rs. 21000/-. The screen for 50k value phone is also about the same price 5500 or 6000. are you kidding? not to mention the bettery life is really really bad. And this time the screen is not broken no single scratch and no explanation why this is happening, not trying to repair and simply asking to replace it with new which costs couple of thousand bucks. we buy a phones with high price and if we don't get proper support. NO thank you very much sony! This probably would be my last sony phone.
This us syed here...since long trying to connect ...you people are very claver ..tried to filled the complain but there is no official or grivance details is there. ...written complain on xoeria site got reply mail also ..but there is no solution or no one contacted me...for resolution...going to file legal case against sony india ...this fraud company cheating with customer. .
Will see you in court...

The first Sony Company is not stupid, Sony company is one of the best electronic technologies company in the world, second to buy defective device you can from all manufactors, sellers. So don't spread here hate and lie. Third Xperia C5 Ultra (in my situation Dual version) is briliant and one of the suprised midrage smartphone with good camera, smooth and many others things (or as Sony calling "super midrage"), so if you bought ONE defective device, it doesn't mean that all Xperia C5 Ultra or Dual versions is bad, even Sony as you wrote is "stupid"...
About your problem, the first i advise you to get back to seller where you bought Xperia C5 Ultra (must be valid warranty) and ask about chance to get back yours money or to change broken Xperia C5 Ultra to new device (the same model if have seller in shop or new one from the same price which you spent to Xperia C5 Ultra)... If is chance to get back money or to change device - choose which way is best for you, if seller disagree to get back money or to change device to new, i advise you get to know little better about users right in your country. Some service must protect your rights as costumer. All these steps is in my country, so i advise you get to know about it in yours. If seller agree only to fix FREE your smartphone, try to fix it again. By the way these all situation possible only if you (must be valid warranty):
1. Did not rooted your smartphone (how i heard most sellers did not fixing rooted smartphone, it's your guilty, you must pay for fix)
2. If you did not modified smartphone's software and ect., must be original software without any modify, the same which installed Sony (can be updated)
3. If your smartphone never been dropped, got water and ect.
4. If you use this smartphone by rules which wrote Sony, did not broke it
In all others situation when you somehow changed smartphone: software, dropped and ect, it's your guilty and you can blame yourself... then nobody is not guilty here
Without professional expert i don't think you will solve this problem and in this forum nobody will not help you i think, coz obvious your device need to show to expert to check where is problem... Expert have a lot of tools and can detect problem... If not helped first time - bring again it, you have this right, if not helped second time - bring it again untill authorized service fix it, get back your money or change it to new one...
