Hello Guys,
I am facing a problem with saving my contact default to my Google account instead going to Microsoft Active sync, even when I go to the contact > Filter (Display Contact) here there is no option shown at all whereas in safe mode I get the options like local contact and gmail contacts.
I am getting the options to save the contact to the Google account in safe mode.I have tried flashing my phone connecting to my laptop and reset to factory setting using option in mobile.The problem not got fixed.
If anyone has the same problem and fixed the problem.please let me know how to fix it.

This happened after upgrading operating system to Android 5.1.1 (19.4.A.182) of Xperia C3 Dual. Cannot save contacts by default to my Google backup account although it was there. The exact message that appears is "Your new Contact will not be backed up. Add an account that backup contacts online" . Then it showing only 2 options to add contact are 1. keep local or 2. add account instead of my Google Account there. I resetted/did factory reset of my cell and again tried. Initially it works but after installation/updation of apps, it disappears especially Whats App. Unistalled Whats App, it works fine. Kindly try to find out solution as soon as possible.

I am having also same problem after upgrading new software.
when i uninstall whatsapps then problem resolved or if i remove sim from second slot problem also resolved..
I suppose this issue is present from Sony's side. I formated my Phone many time and also used Xperia Coppanion for Software Repair stil this problem not solved.

Dear sir,
When i add new number then show thow options 1.keep local and 2. Add account.
When i choose option 2 then show exchange sync.
Then i input the gmail account show you have already exist this account.
Plz tell me what i do??

Other users in this topic mentioned that uninstalling the app What'sApp helped. Do you have this app installed in your device?
