Hello,
Today, my Sony turned off without reasons several times. Each time, i turn it on, but each time, it became more difficult turning it on (pressing more time, using the reset button) and now it is not working at all.
When charging, there is a red light showing that it is not charging.
I would like to precise that Xperia Companion doesn't detect the device (even when my Sony was working well).
Thank you for the help.
Hi @sanarems and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you try to force restart your device by holding down the dedicated off button located under the nano SIM cover, press and hold this button for 120 second. Then charge the device until the notification light lights up. This can take up to 30 minutes. Once the light lights up, try to turn on your device.
I also recommend that you temporarily remove any SIM and SD card from your device to see if they may be the cause of this behavior.
Let me know how it goes.
Hello,
I hold the off button during 120 seconds. The device is now charging. The red light notification is on (showing that the battery is less than 15% or may be the device is not charging). The charging battery screen didn't appear also, the screen is still black.
Is it normal ? Do i have to wait while the device is charging ?
Thank you very much.
