My Sony experia c5 automatically switches off when battery level reaches 70%

I own a Sony experia c5, wherein of late the phone gets switches off suddenly when the battery level reaches 70%. Sometimes it happens also when the battery level reaches 90%. When switching it and putting on the charge the charge levels shows randomly sometimes at 43% or 67%. Don't know how to deal with this problem.
