music and album cant show my data on sd card

Recenty I had problem with my card it is working good with applications I installed on it but the album doesnt show me sd photos and the music data on my sd cant show it from music application, but I can find it from filemanger.. When I take sd of and put it again I get every thing is ok, and after few min I get the same problem and the same if I maked unmount for sd and mount again..

Hi @Amrhassan012,

Try clearing data for the Media storage app by going to Settings > Apps > All > Media Storage > Clear data. Restart your phone after doing so. This will make the phone re-scan the internal storage and the memory card for any media files. It can take some time for the phone to complete the scan after you've restarted the phone if you have a lot of media files.

I go to settings> apps >all.. cant find media storge. And clear data button.. or u mean clear one by one?

I checked in an Xperia C and it should be called Media Storage in English. Do you have your phone set to another language?

The clear data option will be available after you've found and clicked the Media Storage app.

Yes I found it, but it has solved by another way,
Someone told me to take sd card out and put in a flash reader on the computer and put it in the mobile again and restart it, now it is working good, thank u for ur caring

Hi @m_jbr93,

Have you also tried formatting the card that you are using?
If not then I suggest that you backup all your important files that you have on the SD card to a PC and then format the card by going to Settings > Storage > Erase SD card.
