Hi @Nirmalkumar

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about that Slightly_frowning_Face

Generally you would exit safe mode by restarting your device, if that hasn't worked first check for new software wirelessly in your device using Settings > About phone > Software update. However, some updates are not available for wireless download. You then need to check for new software using Xperia Companion

If your handset does have the latest available software and the problem still persists, try to perform a factory data reset on your device. Note that all personal content on the internal memory of your device gets deleted when you perform a factory data reset. You can backup content that you want to keep. To back up your content, you can copy it to a computer using the Xperia Companion. Any content on an external memory card (SD card) is not deleted.

Let me know how you get on Slightly_smiling_Face

@ChloeS the C5 by now should be already updared at the last firmware possible, the issue that OP is having is different, it may be that the software is damaged (happened to me) and that may require a software repair using Xperia Companion rather than a software reset.

@Nirmalkumar when restarting the phone it is a default setting to start/turn on bluetooth on android devices. There is nothing you can do to stop this behaviour, it's not a Sony/Xperia problem but a Google decision.

Hi @YoGem,

Yes you are correct, generally though we advise to try these steps before going straight to software repair just in case.

That was going to be the next option if these steps didn't resolve the problem :smileysmileywink:
