cannot search contacts during ongoing call

Whem there is ongoing call, I press home key and goto contacts and click on search icon. Keyboard does not come up. So, I can't type and search

Please help

Have you installed our app called Smart Key in your phone and if so, could you try to uninstall it and see if that helps? We had a few reports of this app causing this issue and it's something that has been forwarded internally.

Dear Rickard, After installing smart key, problem is resolved. Thank you. So, when will the next version of smart key be available without the bug ? Regards Anil

We forwarded this issue internally a while ago but i'm afraid i don't have any information on when an update will be available for the app.

I have received more information about this issue and i'm afraid it will not be possible to solve this issue. Smart Key works by creating an overlay to intercept headset actions. When this overlay is shown the Android system can't know when you want to fill a text field which is why you can't see the keyboard during calls.

We will release a new version of Smart key that gives a dialog with information about this when you enable Smart Key though.

Thanks for the info.

But I am not satisfied with your answer that it is not possible to solve the issue as I know that this isssue

is not there in version 1.00.10. I have downgraded the version from 1.01.17 to 1.00.10

and I am not facing this issue.

Hope you update this info to your development team. And just adding a dialog 

with the information will not be helpful either. Why dont you just remove version 1.01.17 from playstore

and let 1.00.10 version be available.

I will forward your feedback but the information i gave you is from the development team of Smart Key. As they say this can't be fixed i suspect the change between these versions is a needed change (for example compatibility with different models and Android versions).

I am not happy with the response of your developer team. What is the use of the update when a working feature gets disrupted? Compatibility may be a issue but is it justified? I think its not compatibility or anything but just the negligence of your developers.
