do you receive any errors when trying to repair?
1.) try to reinstall the Xperia Companion,. make sure all previous installations are deleted
2.) when launching Xperia COmpanion, make sure to have it on admin privelages
3.) after starting make sure that it updates to the latest version
4.) connect your device using the original usb connetctors, try using the different USB ports
5.) software repair using Xperia Companion
