Entering Recovery Mode

I have an old SGP312 that I want to repurpsoe. 

Trouble is I have forgotten the password (swipe) to login and so can't access it. There is nothing on it of any use, so I figured a hard reset would be good.

Trouble is - I can't get into the recovery boot mode to do that. I have tried every combination that I can think of with the power key and the volume buttons, but nothing happens.

Can someone please put me out my misery - how do I boot into recovery mode!?!

Hi @ncjharris,

There is no recovery mode in our Xperia devices, that is why you aren't able to enter one with the different key combinations.

In your case, the tablet will need to be reset using a computer and the Xperia Companion program. Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the tablet. To do this, follow the instructions on the link below and remember to not have your tablet connected to your computer when you start with the repair.
