KEYBOARD FAULT?

Hi, does anyone know why the -b,m,j,u,i and8 buttons would just stop working overnight on my VGN-FZ21Z? Could this be a hardware fault or software? Any ideas would be welcomed ,thanks.

Hi brent212,

It is probably a hardware issue and you may need a repair.

However, I notice that most of the letters you quote are the keys that form the numeric keypad when you press the NumLk key. Do you get numbers if you press NumLk or nothing at all?

Hi,
I don't get anything when I press num lock either! The comp won't do a system restore either, and left click is intermittent at times also! Someone from vaio support is phoning today to look at maybe doing a full restore but I would obviously like to avoid that
