My TV is not playing any videos from a USB

Hey guys, I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40W5500. The other day I was trying to play a video that I downloaded from youtube via USB. I downloaded the video in MP4 format and in 1080p. The case is that the TV was detecting the USB but it was not detecting the video. The USB and the videos are working because I tried them on my PC. Then I downloaded the same video in different formats like AVI, WMV,... But none of them were working. The only files that work from the USB are MP3 files. What might be the problem?

Hi @nirmalprem98 and welcome to the Community.

Sadly your TV won't play those file formats, it supports MP3, AAC, LPCM, MPEG 1, AVCHD, JPEG

and some RAW files too.

Do you have a Blu-ray Player / Playstation etc. that you could plug the USB device into and then play on your TV?
