L1 code on DVD

I have just connected a dvd recorder to my tv, but can't get the dvd tray to eject, what could the problem be ?

Hi Tony,

Hard to say - maybe the disc is stuck inside or the drive unit is defect.

Check the bottom of the player - often there's some mechanism to eject the disc manually.
