Hi there
According to the specifications : HERE
This TV only has a DVB-T turner for SD terrestrial transmissions. Therefore you cannot access HD terrestrial TV without an additional "box" that contains a HD tuner (DVB-T2)
Cheers

Maybe I read it wrong, but specification says:
High Definition TV Tuner (MPEG-4) - H.264 (with supported operators) YES
So it's true it doesn't support DVB-T2, but still HD can be broadcast on DVB-T specification. I don't know if in UK HD channel are sent only in DVB-T2, in Italy the 4 channels available are in DVB-T and my W4000 (older than the EX500) receive them correctly

Good catch rooob - Didnt see that.
Yes, in UK HD channels are only sent via DVB-T2 (h.264/mpeg4) (however some SD channels will also be on T2 as well), but NOT the other way round.
So I guess it comes down to which country ryynari is located in?
