New Xperia Choice

Good evening All, I hope you're all fit and well.

I'm here in search of some guidance so I hope you can help.

I've owned an Xperia XA2 Ultra for a ages and it's been fine. However now the storage is now threequarters  full and I'm stuck with Android 9.

So, I bought an Xperia 10 from eBay. Sadly, it proved uable to read my sim cards (EE from 1p mobile). Trying to solve this with 1p mobile's help put me beyond the seller's two week return window so a refund was cancelled  despite the phone being faulty. But with the help of eBay's chat bot I was refunded in full.

By the way, I tried swapping sims with the XA2 but the 10 still wouldn't read cards even though I put a sliver of cardboard under the card.

So, what to but now?  For a start, I want Android 10 but I noticed something else with the 10.

The XA2 Ultra's screen measures 120 x 75mm while the 10's is 135 x 60mm. I miss the width and looking around, I can't find a site that lists the screen sizes in millimetres. Most I've found refer to the ratio and/or the resolution while the overall size of the phone doesn't really help.

I don't need a particularly  high end phone. Ise mine for web browsing, email and SMS, GPS navigation using CoPilot GPS and using Tile to track my cat!

By the way, this screen grab from the 10 shows the EE sims are detected but no phone numbers read.

Over to you then, thank you for reading.
