Xperia C5 Ultra Camera Loading Time & Performance
Why does the camera take forever to load and snap photos on the Xperia C5 Ultra? Everything else is pretty much great and quite fast to open up but the camera and it's different modes seem to take a toll on the phone's performance. Eventually it works well and takes good photos but for a phone that was sold to me simply because it has the best selfie camera in the market... the one feature which I use the most is annoyingly slow. Will Sony fix this in the next update or is this something I just need to live with?

Do you experience the same lag while on safe mode?
settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > boot on safe mode again > check again.

I'm not too sure what you mean? Shall I keep the phone on safe mode to have a better camera experience? When I switched back to normal mode the Camera lag and performance went back to slow mode. I don't also have many other apps running in the background. Anyone else in the forum facing this grievance?

You have to find the app that its causing this, its not a preloaded app, it's an app that you've downloaded, it could be a taskiller, antivirus, ram app, battery app, etc.

What I do is this
open the app drawer > swipe left to right > installed > swipe left to right > uninstall > uninstall app by app until you find the culprit

I uninstalled the apps one by one and the culprit was the Google now launcher.

Sometimes when I start recording video it freezes, then when I try to open it again after closing it in the task list it comes up with an error and only way to get it to work again is to restart it but the same problem happens before it can work again.
Even after the error I tried to use my other video recording app and it said camera is unable to be accessed, used by another application, though I have closed the camera app before.
