Xperia C3 / C3 Dual Lollipop Issues and Feedback

This thread is for C3 users to report any bugs after lollipop, before you do so, try the following:

If your battery drain faster or the phone seems slower or apps are crashing, it'll be wise to reinstall lollipop with PCC

even better if you update deleting all the apps and settings, keep in mind that by doing so, you can not use the backup & restore app to restore anything.

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

Because of the limited RAM (1GB) the C3 won't get multi user support

"The reason for that multi user functionality has not been implemented is the amount of RAM (1GB) so i'm afraid this feature is not supported on this phone. "

This thread it's not to ask when is the update going to be released in your country and/or carrier network. you can read about it here

have u already tried the pc companion software recovery tool?no use?i am planning to use pc companion for front camera issues..do u u suggest not to do so?

I have not faced any issues with the cameras...in fact they have improved!

You should probably consult an authorised service centre!

The PC Companion only consumed time for me! The phone still performes the same!

So for it to solve the camera issue is unlikely!

I did all these. . .clear cache and data. , .then did a clean installation also. Nothing fix the bug in front cam. . .at last downgraded to kitkat.

There is no multi user support . .very sad. Its one of the main features of lolipop.but sony ignore that point.

Xperia helpline to somewhat garunteed that the issue regarding front cam will be resolved once the software is repaired via PC companion. Even after the repair, if the problem persists then you have no other option other than to wait for the next update from Sony or else to downgrade to kitkat. Going to service center may not be effective because they are yet npt updated with the lollipop repairment tools. So yourself you need to get your repairment done. However things to be kept in mind while going for the repair.
1) Use PC companion only
2) You should be connected either wifi or while doing on PC you should be connected to broadband.
3) Your phone should be atleast charged upto 80% before you go for the repair.
4) Keep another usable phone beside you, so that incase of any complexity you can call Xperia helpline.

I haven' t yet tried with the repairment due to certain time management problems, but soon I will go for it as soon as I get free.

If anyone goes for the repairment via PCC, please definitely post your results in the forum.

Sony claims that every xperia device with lollipop 5.0 has the multi user feature!

I cannot find it as well!
