Where is new firmware for A95L??

Hello,

Could Sony Europe please release firmware v112.627.030.1 for the A95L?  This firmware provides much needed fixes for problems the set has had since launch 14 months ago (poor Dolby Vision Gradation in dark scenes, eARC sound dropouts, posterisation in some streaming content) as well as promised features such as Voice Zoom 3 and Prime Calibrated Mode. 

This has been available in the rest of the world for 3 weeks now and it’s unacceptable that European owners of the A95L are still forced to wait for these much needed fixes and feature updates.

Finally, although the log is completely different to the USA one with no mention on DV stuff.

Did Sony ever admit their was an issue with DV? or is it possible it has been fixed covertly. My A95l was calibrated the other day, so no issue for me. My calibrator who also owns an A95L said he was going to test before and after to see if any changes to UK DV graduation steps

Dolby Vision is definitely miles better now, both on streaming and disc. There was definitely an issue and they admitted as much in the patch notes for the US release in November.  I think it’s just a case of the patch notes not being updated correctly for this week’s European release. 

Anyway, I’m happily using my A95L on the latest firmware and am glad I can stop moaning about this now!  We now have the set we should have had at launch so credit where it’s due to Sony.
