KD-55A1 not turning on from standby
I have a KD—55A1, working fine until I updated to the latest Oreo update (6.6520), all off a sudden has an issue were when it is on standby for a while, usually over night, it won't turn on without a power cycle.
No response when trying the power button on the remote or on the TV itself.
After tunring the power at the outlet off and back on, the TV responds normally to the remote or power button.
Is this in anyway related to known issues with other Bravia TVs? Does this happen with the latest Oreo update?

Hi @bbandor Unless you have a complicated setup, I recommend that you try a Factory Data Reset. This often solves these strange type of glitches.

I’ve managed to solve the problem by removing the thumb drive from the TV’s USB port

Same problem with mine.
I have a memory stick plugged in also, so I have disconnected and see how I go on.

I have the same issue..
I have an Amazon Fire stick plugged in and I power it from one of the TV's USB ports...
I'll try removing that power source and see if the problem is still there.
