Bravia TV not playing movies from USB flash drive

Hi all

Problem I have is playing movies fom a USB flash drive. I have a Bravia KD-55XF8596. It has 3 USB ports and have tried  all 3 but I can't find any access to select USB. I used it on holiday in Spain and the TV  has an external device access selector -my TV only lets me select any of the HDMI ports. Help would be appreciated guys
