Text Message Font Size

Hi,

Today for some reason the font size in my text messages has gone big, it was fine yesterday.

I have tried changing the size in the settings, I can make it larger but not back to the normal size.

The font size on the phone in menus etc is all normal and in WhatsApp it's normal, so I think it maybe something in the message app itself.

I was thinking of removing the app and re-installing it but I would probably loose my messages I guess? Unless they can be saved somewhere?

Anyone else had this issue.

I'm on Android 13 it was updated a week or so ago.

In the Settings of the Messages App (Google) you may have selected "Pinch to enlarge the text of the messages". If so, you can pinch to zoom in and you can also pinch to zoom out...

Excellent that worked, I don't recall pinch zooming.

I couldn't find that anywhere on the net.
