Hi @YanivYon, welcome to our forum!

If you want to add a shortcut for an application in your application drawer, swipe up on your home screen to access the application drawer > press and hold on the icon you want to create a shortcut for and drag it slightly upwards/downwards. You should end up with the icon on your home screen. You can now just drop it where you want, as long as there is free space on the home screen.

I hope that helps! Slightly_smiling_Face

On WhatsApp go to the group chat conversation.

Then tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

Tap 'more' and you will find the shortcut option you are searching for.

i tested WhatsApp, Telegram and Blackberry Hub

what logical reason would there be to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp if it is clearly an issue of the Launcher?

3 different Apps

now i wanted to try it with Chrome and i see that there is no button for "Add to Home Screen" in the chrome menu

so can anyone with the same device please test it?

I don't have a Xperia 10.

What I have learned from 10 years Android phones is that you won't win by saying that it should behave like this or like so.

Experimenting and testing is the way.

So it would be perfect if you were willing to test.

If others would be willing to test as well.

If your experience affects others too and the misbehaviour remains after a reinstall of WhatsApp then this will be escalated to the developers before 8 mondaymorning (summertime).

This will either result in a communication that this is due to something whatever Slightly_frowning_Face

or that it will be repaired in a forthcoming software update.:)
