problem with function shortcut - no screen brightness control

hi there.
sorry for newbie question,thats m first time on this forum.
i got VGN-C1S/H, one day i delete some programs from software "add remove programs" list..
probably too much ;/
nowi cannot change brightness of screen using Fn+f5-f6 keys..
someone can help me to replace it?
it drives me crazy a bit 😞

Hi sid666 and welcome.

You have probably deleted some of the Sony Utilities.

To reinstall them download the Sony Original Utilities Package from VAIO-LINK. Right-click on the downloaded .ZIP file and choose "Extract All". Extract the download into a temporary folder like C:\ Utils. They are the bottom item here: -

For the function keys to work you will need to install some of the Utilities in the correct order:

1 Sony Utilities (installer folder 1)
2 Sony Shared Library (installer folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service (installer folder ?)

And then re-boot your Vaio - you may have to repeat the process as it sometimes needs to be repeated.!

i found resolution!

now i need to change the space botton because sucks badly and my vaio gonna be lovely again
