topic Replacement LED Screen blowing capacitor in PCs & Accessories

I replaced the LED screen on my VPCEH2N1E (8months old) but the backlight failed. I havee had it checked out and am told the screen is a like for like replacement, but when plugged in it blows a capacitor on the Mother board. We repair this and the same thing happens, I am told this is a known difficulty and it will be impossible to repair or get a screen that works. Is this true?, has anybody come across this problem or got any advice as to how I can get this problem fixed. 2 local laptop repair centres cannot find a solution. Thanks
