No Wifi after Windows 10 Update

I have a Sony Vaio notebook VPCCW1Z4E. It was originally Windows 7 but i upgraded it to Win10 a few years back.

I have had the latest update applied but now Wifi no longer works. The driver says 'Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device. (Code 56)'.

I have uninstalled the update and all works fine but Windows keeps applying the update as its essential and each time I lose wifi.

Anyone else had this? What can I do to rectify?

Looks like no-one else has had a similar problem. Have you contacted Sony Support about this?
