VPCSB3C5E Max hard disk capacity

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade the hard disk in my vaio laptop (VPC-SB3C5E) and I am wondering what the largest capacity is that this laptop supports (I would hate to go to large - bit expensive).

Can anyone offer some guidance?

An update in case it helps anyone. I finally had a response from Sony

"We are contacting you following on your ongoing query with your Sony VAIO device, please be kindly advised that we do not recommend any upgrades or changes on the hardware or original software on your VAIO product as this out of our scope of support.

Thus, we would like to confirm that the existing hard disk capacity is the recommended capacity and unfortunately we are unable to help you with the intended upgrade"

So no help what so ever (this was after an exchange where I was directed to various links without an answer to my query.

Prior to getting this I had taken the plunge though and fitted a 2tb drive. This worked without a problem for me and has been now for a couple of months
