Transferring video

I am very pleased with my DSC HX440v and successfully use Image Edge for transferring stills to my tablet over wifi direct but I am frustrated because it won't allow me to transfer video in the same way, can anyone advise how to do this please?

Hello @tobutte22,

in which video format have you shot the clips? Imaging Edge Mobile can't copy all file-types wirelessly.

I suggest to change the video quality to AVCHD/MP4 or to get a cardreader to plug into your phone to manually copy the files from the SD card.

Thanks Nic, the card idea won't work in this case as I only have a tablet and want use wifi direct which is very convenient when J do it with stills, same for my phone. I don't know how to check or change the video quality so would be grateful if you can guide me on that, Tom

You can use video converter apps to change the video quality on all Android devices.

Thank you but I think it is the camera I would need to change the video on and that is not an Android device which J can use apps on

According to the supported features for this model listed here; you can only transfer MP4 videos using Imaging Edge Mobile.
