New PC incompatibility with vintage sony audio?

Anybody aware of problems in this arena. My devices seem to be incompatible with both my old NWZE436 walkman, now not operating at all, after introducing it the new pc. which opened the files once and now appears deceased. Other device, NWW270 [waterproof device} wont open any files nor charge from pc but does'nt seem to be have been damaged. It charges fine from mains usb. Any ideas appreciated.

Hey,

It seems that the Sony NWZ-E436F isn't compatible with any 64-bit operating system. The latest compatible OS is Windows Vista 32-bit version.

Also, the NW-W270 Series are not compatible with any OS newer than Windows 8.

I got this information from their official specifications in their manuals.
