topic Using WH-1000XM3 headphones with my KD-65XF9005 TV. in Portable Audio

Hi all.

Quick question. So I know these headphones won't connect to my Xbox X via Bluetooth with these wireless headphones.

Before I buy them, is the bypass as simple as just connecting the headphones to my XF9005? Doing exactly the same job. Does it just cut the TV speaker sound once connected/linked?

No need for chat and only for wireless play in the livingroom (currently wired into the controller, which I hate). I don't want to buy a gaming headset that links direct to xbox.

Any help would be great.
