55.0.A.2.314 was uploaded just today. As usual no change log whatsoever. Does anybody know if it has just a security patch or other improvements ?

So frustrated that no details are shared.

I hope they fixed the camera as it takes between 2 to 4 seconds to launch and its very slow to cwicth lenses!!! It's unacceptable for premium flagship...

UI is smoother, especially unlocking animation
Camera image processing capability is accelerated
60fps video recording has no harsh sound now.
The fingerprint recognition rate has been steadily improved
top and bottom speaker volume balance now
China region phone APP crash problem solved

Real life review from some chinese user after 5.0.A.2.314 update （At least more than three people said each comment）

still no 21:9 camera mode

top speraker has cracking sound

Camera image processing now from 7 seconds change to 4 seconds

Camera turned on speed still very slow

Speaker still cracking sound while turning volume up or down

Album now sometimes stuck a minute

There's a 332MB update on my Vodafone provided phone, I assume this is the latest firmware.

Hopefully it fixes the useless fingerprint sensor.

Excellent news! I have yet to use my phone but glad the engineers/programmers jumped on rectifying software faults once the complaints started rolling in. I'm sure there will be further updates in the pipeline.

Just updated mine

Initial honest impressions:

Impressed by the camera speed launch.

Quicker auto focusing

In auto mode its MUUUUUUUCH quicker to swtch between lenses

Saves a file quicker also, once a photo has taken (around 1 second no compared to 4 before)

Issue still to be changed

IN full manual still photography mode, you cannot switch to the WIDE angle, bit of a pain but not a deal killer.

Stabilisation in video is still to be tested though.

Much better work on this patch Sony and well done to your RND team, however much more is yet to be done:)

This is good news, I found the camera utterly frustrating when trying to get it to use the 2x lens, and I found the autofocus to be quite unreliable as well when you tap the screen to tell it where you want to focus.

Have there been any improvements to the quality of the JPG's? The compression was quite heavy before, and if I want to take raw photos I'll use my Panasonic G9!

Have not tested for quality difference in photos before.

I have never had any problem with the photos, as you cna see by my photography thread.

Only time I have had noise issues is when I have used 'DEHAZE' in my photos ,as that always bringsi n lots of grain.

Send to after-sales service now，the FP ready just not right
