Hi @SOUNI1, sorry to hear that you were unable to update your device.

You can try clearing data for the Software Update app through Settings > Apps > [menu] > Show system > Software Update > Storage > Clear data. Reboot your device after this and it will search for new updates again and notify you when you can try to update again. If you have access to a PC you can also try to update using Xperia Companion. I hope this helps.

Update availability will vary depending on country and/or operator. I'm afraid I can't say when the update will reach your device but you will receive a notification as soon as it is available.

Updates sometimes are only for some countryes and not wordwide. I only would have to know if this update is also for Europe (Italy) or is only for the asiatic markets.

I don't trust that you, Sony's employee, don't know for which country are updates released from Sony...

Hi everyone,

after the update notify, I tried many times to install but it fails after the restart.

Actually it simply restarts, there's no usual android update interface.

Tried the solution given here (http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-X-Compact/New-System-Update-34-2-A-0-292-Available-for-X-compact/m-p/1194956#U1194956) but still no working.

Having the same problem. Tried doing the update by connecting the phone to my lap top but just got the same restart - no update loop.

new system update, same problem as last one.
The download is ok, but after that, it just simply reboot without installing.
What's wrong with this update lately?
