They are really hard to clean. I have tried all sorts of cloth i.e microfibre but i cant seem to totally get rid of the STREAK marks. i have to literally spend 45 mins constantly wiping back & forth even then its not totally clean.

maybe its to do with the monolitic glass sheet infront of the screen.

does sony do a special cleaning cloth for these tv's?

My model number is KDL46NX713

yeh my problem is my nephew keeps putting dirty fingers all over it and your right i can never get it 100% even after cleaning it for 40-50 mins.

i think sony should have a specialist cloth for these tv cause they are not like other tvs which are easy to clean. microfibre cloths do take alot of cleaning going back and forth

Well, what can I say, I have the same TV as the original poster and it came with hundreds of finger marks, streaks etc. as it was a display model (a replacement for my KDL-40HX803 that came with the Sony demo logos burnt in...!!!) This stuff got it clean and free of streaks without fuss and without any of the shinyness etc. you mention.

The trick is to use a very small amount, as per the instructions.

I don't care what's in it, quite honestly, as long as it works.

I can understand your problem. I do have same problem with my LCD screen TV. And i have tried microfibre cloths and other solution for my screen streak marks but nothing works. Then one of my friend suggest me to try ecomist microfibre towel and all my problems with my LCD screen marks gone. After using it i got get rid of all marks from my LCD screen and also it is hypoallergic and good for kids and cleans all dust from the Screen.

You need to change the brand of the product and then you may find the best Microbe cloth online on some online stores like Amazon and eBay.

Oh that's a pain in the ass! I've also searched for Sony cloth products and such, but haven't found anything made by them. And the streak marks look so annoying when on direct sunlight. I tryed wiping with all kinds of towels and cleaning cloths but it took me way too long to make a difference. Somewhere along the lines of a microfiber cloth, just like the person above, and decided to give it a shot. It's cheap, it does the work and it's economic. Also I read that it's bio degradable and hypo allergenic too. I've been using it for a few months now and I highly recommend it. Hope this helps!
