No HD channels on you view

hi,

I have a SONY BRAVIA KD-55X75WLU 55" Smart 4K with a new Ariel installed however despite updating firmware and re-tuning I don’t get any of the HD channels (for example ITV HD).

can anyone assist?

The HD channel operate on a different frequency to standard defintion channels. Try retuning your TV, sometimes those channels can become hard to detect when interference occurs.

This isn't really a Sony problem - You're at the mercy of the signal strength. Occasionally my HD channels will drop out with high pressure weather, yet the SD channels will for the most part be fine.

As you know the TV is capable of showing HD channels, so it is not a TV issue.

You have also said you have a new aerial installed so the first point of contact should be the person/ company that installed your new aerial. If you can't get HD channels which are typically in the 101 and above number range

(have you checked?) in the EPG get the aerial installers back out to check the the aerial is pointed at the best transmitter for your location.
