Soundbar Issues with KD-43X75WL

Hi Guys, i hope you can help. I've just bought the KD-43X75WL this Saturday and i love the TV but i have an issue with my Soundbar. When turning up the Volume on the soundbar using the Sony remote via eARC and ARC it turns up fine but when i turn it down it goes down a few numbers and then it stops and unable to go down further, but it will go back up. I've tried a different HDMI cable and still the same. I'm hoping its just a compatibility issue and nothing wrong with the TV or Soundbar. Does anybody have any ideas please.. Thanks in advance...

Hi @DAFFY1981 What happens if you disable eARC and just use ARC?

Well, you need to troubleshoot your TV first to make sure it' not causing the issue, you can follow these steps:

- Disconnect all the external devices from the TV.

- Unplug the TV from the mains for 2 minutes.

- Make sure that the TV is running the latest software update: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-x75wl-series/kd-43x75wl/software/00294716

Hi, ive done all the steps you said including a factory reset and checked the firmware update and i still have the problem..

Ive also just noticed that the soundbar turns its self on.

@DAFFY1981 Then that's a compatibility issue! I would advise you to contact the soundbar providers to troubleshoot the soundbar as a final option.
