TV keeps losing WiFi connection

Android TV KDL 43W756G software up to date, no other WiFi networks nearby keeps losing WiFi connection when switched on (rarely when TV has connected & is working). Go to setup to reconnect: does not always connect. Sometimes turn WiFi off & back on again sometimes works, otherwise needs to reboot TV... At which point WiFi connects perfectly.

Tried some tips - but no joy. It looks like I'm at the limit of WiFi (70-80dB signal) so have switched to a wired connection instead (using Ethernet over mains). However, this too is proving to be somewhat unreliable. I've switched off WiFi so only on wired link. I also need to check the error logs on my router.
